Readers buying via the charity’s website, will not only be able to purchase this First Edition at a very competitive price, but can select to have the book signed by authors Gabriel Hemery and Sarah Simblet.
Also, all proceeds of these sales will go towards Sylva’s charitable work caring for forests.
Pre-orders are now being accepted. Books will be dispatched from April 3rd onwards (publication date April 10th 2014). www.sylva.org.uk/shop
Really sorry to hear there isn’t to be a Special Edition but really excited to see the publication coming closer!
The tantalising peeks at the cover and contents are amazing. I’m glad to see that ordering the book on this website channels the money to the charity’s work (better than going in Waterstones’ or Amazon’s pockets).
I am really interested in pre-ordering a normal Edition, as I am a bibliophile as well as being passionate about native British trees (and their history/folklore), is there any chance of having my copy inscribed to me by yourself with the date of inscription included?
Also, if at all possible, would Sarah be able to add her signature to it as well? (Obviously that may not be possible if she isn’t able to be there at the time)
Thanks for your encouragement Mark. I confirm that copies signed by both authors are available to pre-order from the online shop of the Sylva Foundation: http://sylva.org.uk/shop
If you want a personal inscription then you should add this as a note in your order please.
