I’m fundraising money to support Cancer Research by cycling at least 300 miles in September.

My bike among bluebells

Usually I ride my bike to fundraise for Fund4Trees (I’m a trustee of the small arboricultural charity), but our next event is some way away. Like so many people, I have experienced the pain and worry when a family member is effected by cancer, so I wanted to make my own small contribution.

I’m not cycling round the world, nor am I expecting to break any fundraising records, but it would be great if I could at least raise £1 for every mile cycled during one month. I make the pledge now that if I make my target of £300, then I will try my best to match my cycle distance to my fundraising success: mile to £!

If you might care to give to support this cause, please visit my fundraising page on the Cancer Research website.

Thank you.
